Final report of the 2008-2009 season. Grooming has ended for the season.
SNOW & WEATHER REPORT: Base depth (MEASURED IN Oquossoc): 24”. We are into spring weather with temperatures above freezing by mid-morning and below freezing as the sun sets.
TRAIL CONDITIONS: There is little or no snow left on the approaches to Rangeley and Oquossoc. The lakes are wet. There is plenty of snow on the trails and back country logging roads north of Rangeley. These areas should be ridable into at least mid-April. Be considerate of the landowners when you ride on plowed roads or park your trailers. Bosebuck Camps plans to be open through April 5th for food, lodging and gas. Other access points may be in Adamstown, Langtown, at Route 16 in Oquossoc (maybe) and near Loon Lake. Read more
