Polar Blast This Weekend in Eustis/Stratton - Feb. 5th to 8th

The 13th Annual Polar Blast will be held this Thursday through Sunday (February 5-8, 2009) in the villages of Eustis and Stratton, Maine. The event is presented by the Flagstaff Area Business Association (FABA) and the Arnold Trail Snowmobile Club (ATSC). It is sponsored by the Miller Brewing Company.

Thursday, February 5, 2009

• Game Night at the Stratton Plaza in Stratton Maine, 7 p.m. Pool, darts and cribbage.
• Great Polar Silent Auction at the Stratton Plaza in Stratton Maine, Thursday Night.
• 50/50 Raffle on Thursday Night at the Stratton Plaza in Stratton Maine.

• Polar Blast Bonfire Kick-Off in Eustis Village, Eustis Maine, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
• Crazy Cardboard Sled Ride in Eustis Village, Eustis Maine, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
• Spaghetti Dinner - Groomer Fundraiser at the Stratton Community Building in Stratton Maine, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
• Kathy’s Karaoke at the Stratton Plaza in Stratton Maine, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
• 50/50 Raffle on Friday Night at the Eustis Village Inn in Eustis Maine.

• Polar Blast Breakfast - 7th Grade Fundraiser at the Stratton Community Building in Stratton Maine, 6:30 a.m.-10 a.m.
• Arnold Trail Radar Run on Pumpkin Pond in Eustis Village, Eustis Maine, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Cash Prizes: 1st Place - $100., 2nd Place - $50., 3rd Place - $25. Don’t miss the best hotdogs and burgers from the Stratton Lion’s Club.
• Chili/Chowder/Stew Contest at the Stratton Plaza in Stratton Maine, 11:30 a.m-2:30 p.m. Entrants due by 10:30 a.m.
• Dead River Historical Society  in Stratton Maine will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• 2009 Polar Blast Awards at the Trails End Restaurant, Eustis Village, Eustis Maine, 4 p.m.
• 50/50 Raffle on Saturday Night at the Trails End Restaurant in Eustis Village, Eustis Maine.
